Such a Failure!

Feb 05, 2013 | Rita

Failure
By: StormKatt

Have you ever had moments where you totally felt that way? That is how I have felt this week. There is so much that I am now behind in and so much that I really need to get done. The problem is there were several issues over the course of the last couple of weeks that have caused all of this. Tomorrow I won’t be on much because I am going to the dentist and more than likely  won’t feel like doing anything else afterwards. But who knows! I may feel so totally fabulous!! Fingers crossed!!

Back to being a failure, I feel as though I have let many of you done because my posting lately has been so erratic but that is something that I continue to work on and with a little pray am hoping to have corrected this year. It is so funny you make all these plans and have all these goals and life throws you a monkey wrench which spins everything else out of control. One day at a day time though and I will get through it all.

The good news is my water has been repaired so next week we are heading home. I have several big things coming over the course of the next few months for the blog so be sure you stay tuned!

I’m sorry it’s been such a rough week, but it sounds like you have the right attitude. It’s hard to function when you’re not in your own home!

You’ve been doing a great job. Nobody expects you to post all the time. There’s a whole other life offline that we often forget about… 🙂

Inch by inch, it’s a cinch! Just take your time Rita. No one is keeping score here. You are being WAY too hard on yourself. Take care!

Not a failure! Failing is giving up! Every time I feel this way I tell myself, “Everything Happens for a Reason”!!! 😉

You haven’t let us down! Considering you have had plumbing problems, aren’t in your own home, spotty internet connection, and have a bad tooth. I would say you have done an amazing job. Sometimes life just gets in the way of our plans. Most importantly you are taking care of your home, family and yourself. We will be here always. 🙂

I agree, the only failure is giving up and I don’t see you doing that any time soon. Sometimes things are tough, but God only gives you what you can handle. He is always there. Hope it all works out sooner rather than later!
Looking forward to the blog, I have really been enjoying it.

I know what you mean about that feeling, but it usually is more a self-perceived thing than in reality 🙂

You are a wonderful person and all of us in one point in life feel like failures but I feel is just normal because sometimes our plans don’t go as we wanted or something unexpected happens. Well that’s life with its small surprises for us so let’s just make the best of it and hope and pray that tomorrow will be a much better day for all of us. Hope your visit with the Dentist goes well and that you feel a lot better 🙂

We all feel like this sometimes. We just have to remember what is out there for us!

Failure”? Nope, I wouldnt say that is a word to describe you. You arent home, you have had things come up. Thats life, it isnt failing.

A bit down, maybe, but “failure”??? No. I think we are too hard on ourselves sometimes. We will make long lists of things to do, then count those things * undone* as failures. Not so. We should be making that long list and counting whatever gets done as successes! I’m really feeling for your having to be out of your house for a while–that must be tough. Glad you are going home soon!

You are definitely not a failure, you seem like you’ve been doing your best! And I love that quote, very inspiring:)

I have been having a month of failures myself! I have no control over abscessed teeth, broken cars or other such things. It helps when I finish all of my laundry or one day goes by without a new catastrophe though!
