Summer Vacation Tips

Jun 18, 2012 | Rita

Summer is a great time to relax, enjoy and make memories! However, some families know how expensive this can get when the vacation, days out and  summer wardrobe  are all added up. This summer, make sure you save money where you can and let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to do that?
The first ‘tip’ is nothing more than some good old common sense, however it is often overlooked in the society we live in today. Quite simply, go to places that don’t have an ‘entrance fee’. The classic examples are probably the best even in 2012 so stick with them; parks and beaches can be enjoyed all day long for nothing! On a nice sunny day, take a picnic, a ball, sun cream, a good book and you can’t go wrong! Top the day off with ice cream and soda for a cheap but precious day out.

If you are going on vacation, particularly  one that includes flights and milford sound accommodation then make sure you get a great discount or deal. There are plenty of hotels, flights and car hire coupons  and deals around so you are almost guaranteed of finding something relevant to you. With a whole host of coupon code sites out there and power of search engines means finding them has never been easier so make sure you take advantage of them! A great example that can probably apply to nearly anyone looking to book a hotel is a hotels.com coupon, is there anywhere they don’t cover?!
If you have a good mix of ‘free’ days out with a couple of nights of luxury thanks to coupons, codes and the latest deals then summer 2012 really will be one to remember for all the right reasons – stay safe and enjoy!

There are some really nice parks that are close to where I live. I love going there around this time of year to spend a lazy day outside.

We took our vacation early this year in February so this summer will be going to places near home, lots of theme parks and water parks are on our list andlenty of ice cream trips 🙂

These are great tips. If you truly do your searches you can honestly get some good deals on vacation packages.
