This morning I am getting ready to head out to the hospital and have surgery. It is a rather simple outpatient surgery however, there is always the chance that I could end up staying overnight. My poor mother is full of nerves this week. I’m having surgery and my brother headed out of town yesterday for a work thing.
He is only going to be gone for a few days but has a four layover in Chicago and well with the weather being what it has been Ma is ready to pull her hair out. She is so stressed and when I suggested talking with her doctor about it she looked like she was going to smack me.
The rest of this week and next I have pre-scheduled pretty much everything here on the blog. However, I will be around checking emails and as I have said, doing other work. Today, however, I won’t be doing much of anything. I hope to be back home this afternoon but will keep everyone posted.

You are so lucky to have someone be with you. A couple of months ago I had a lobectomy where they removed a portion of my right upper lung. I took a cab there and a cab home.
