Survive the Season of Stress Self-Study Course

Dec 03, 2014 | Rita

holiday-stress261
The holiday season!! The time of the year when stress runs amok and if you are like me and work in a business that ramps up during the holiday season then stress is your middle name this time of the year. So when I was asked to review the Survive the Season of Stress Self-Study Course I thought why not! I am sure there would be a few things that I could use. This program is $47 but I was given access to the course in order to facilitate my review.

Here is what you get:

arrow a 13 module self-study course

arrow complete each session as it is released at a pace that works best for you

arrow work on the course from the comfort of your own home…or anywhere

arrow access to this package 24/7, so you can choose to read, review, study any item of this self-study course, day or night as your schedule permits

You will learn…

asterisk  the sources of holiday stress

asterisk  resources for holiday stress

asterisk  how to enjoy the holidays without stress

asterisk  how to deal with family conflicts during the holidays

asterisk  and more!

I wasn’t real sure if there was anything that would help me keep the insanity that is the holiday stress free for me. However I actually did learn a few things such as writing down my resources that have really been a huge help. I took the time to write down not only my resources plus everything that I needed to accomplish, buy, order, etc and I have to say that things have been going very smoothly. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to have a stress free holiday or even an event!!

This sounds like a great course. I’m a college counselor and my students deal with stress all the time. Now that finals are next week and the holidays are right around the corner, this topic is definitely timely. Thanks, Rita!

    Hi Rita,
Thanks for the review. Stress is bad anytime of the year, but it seems to intensify during the end of year holidays for most people. The good news is that there ARE things each person can do to reduce the stress, sometimes as simple as writing down your resources, or writing down your personal plan of action. There is something about writing things down that eliminates the feeling of “overwhelm”. The simple act of writing things down is empowering because you are taking action. Taking action ( no matter how small) is one is one of the primary anti-dotes for stress.

I don’t usually have stress, but I know some other people that this would be really good for.

Rita, thanks for reviewing the package. I hadn’t heard of it, but anything that could bring order to the chaos of the holidays would be wonderful. I think I’ll give it a try – it is worth investing in ME a bit for the holidays as everyone in my circle will benefit if I am calm, cool, and collected. I like the idea of having a structured process coaching me through it all that I can absorb at my own pace. Much appreciated!

I could use some tips for less stress. Normally, I’m pretty good about it but this year is really hard. I just hit a deer with my car (I haven’t even made the first payment yet), my husband’s truck broke down and so did our septic system. All this week! I’m keeping a smile on my face though. Could always be worse. But some tips sure would’t hurt. 🙂
