TacPack is a tactical gear subscription box that chances are someone in your life is going to love. This isn’t typically my sort of review item although coming from the military brat life I am familiar with many of the items.
Just what comes in a TacPack? As I said it is a box of tactical, survival, EDC gear. EDC stands for Everyday Carry. So they are items that you carry with you all the time. For example most guys carry a pocket knife which would be EDC gear. I am a firm believer that women should carry around EDC gear as well. Not just for the emergencies that may arise but for self-defense as well. In fact, I started carrying self-dense tools a few years ago after I was walking near my home on the highway. This guy in a car kept driving by and when he slowed to a stop the fourth time I began to panic. Luckily a deputy who lives in the area was on his way back to work from lunch and I flagged him down.

This box is full of stuff and each month is different which is awesome. TacPack is $49.95 a month and the boxes ship on the 15th and 16th of the month. I received my box quickly like within a week. I received the July box but as you all know I have been super behind for several reasons. I posted the unboxing previously and your can read that here or take a look at the video:
5.11 Tactical Blade
The 5.11 Tactical Blade ($36.00) is a compact stainless AUS8 that they did in a collaboration with Mike Vellekamp. So what does this mean to those like me who don’t know what that is? It is a small knife that is sharp as hades and can handle most any job.
Fusion Daisy Chain & Carabiner
The Fusion Daisy Chain & Carabiner ($30.00) is seriously professional grade. So what can you do with it? Well you can hang your food up when camping, which we do from time to time. Use it to cinch your gear or any number of things. For me this is now in my Go Bag because of the number of uses that it has. It is super strong and my brother said felt much stronger than the paracord that I have in my bag.
Breakthrough Clean Kit
This Breakthrough Clean Kit ($25.00) is one of the items that my sister in-law loves. Since it is a gun cleaning kit you can imagine why. It is a great kit that gives her everything she needs to clean her gun and keep in good shape.
EZ Accuracy Gas Block Dimple Tool
I had to look this one up as I had no idea what it was for. It ensures your gas block won’t move as well as provide a footprint to aid in reassembly of your AR15. It sounds super technical and since I don’t have an AR15 it is not something I would ever use.
MOAB Patch
The MOAB Patch (Priceless) is one that Reese went nuts for. Since he was having his room redone in military style for his birthday I gave it to him to add in there in some fashion.
