AYL TF89 Bright 900 Lumens LED Tactical Flashlight

Jul 13, 2016 | Rita

everyone needs a good tactical flashlight

Tomoson Disclosure

I am all about the tactical these days! I don’t mean I have gone lets build a basement room (I don’t have a basement) but I have discovered that items designed to be tactical tend to hold up to abuse a little better. So when I came across the AYL TF89 Bright 900 Lumens LED Tactical Flashlight I knew I needed to have one of them. These flashlights work well on AA Batteries or AAA batteries, as per their specifications. The real reason is Ma is rough on a flashlight!

This is really an awesome flashlight! It is made of a weather resistant anodized aluminum alloy body and have five different modes: high, medium, low beam, strobe, and SOS. The strobe is really a strobe in that it gave me a horrible headache so if this is something that happens to you I would advise against that mode.

The bulb in this puppy can last for 100,000 hours and while I am certain that I won’t be using it that much it is good to know that should I need it then I would have it. It is super bright and while it isn’t bright enough that it hurts your eyes you certainly don’t want to be shinning it in other people’s eyes. I say this because truthfully it is my brother’s favorite thing to do to me. It drives me up a wall.

It can run off 3 AAA batteries or this rechargeable battery that came with it. The thing to remember is to put this particualr battery in the plastic sleeve (up near the top of the picture) that came with it before your put it into the flashlight. I would suggest using this battery and saving the AAA’s for a backup.

I do have a basement…but it is a bit disorganized and not ready for anything too “tactical”—lol! But having a flashlight handy is a great idea.

I love that it’s waterproof! The rechargeable battery is a big plus, too this looks like a great flashlight to carry in the car because of the strobe. Thanks for showing it off.
