I take time for myself every morning with a cup of coffee and my gratitude journal

I try to read alittle each night
I like to just take a moment to read for at least 30 minutes a day in my corner chair. That gives me a bit of an escape!
I have been having a cup of green tea and looking out the window
I have been taking a least 20 mins a day to read quietly.
I will read at the end of the day or I will knit as I am watching a tv show or I go for a walk for about 20 minutes.
I read in the evenings.
I’ve had my entire career stripped, so been practicing with different genres than southern gospel. I have used music therapy to keep me sane.

I have been super stressed because I’m being retaliated against for reporting fire code violations. I’ve been spending some time with my family bible and having some time alone with God, to help me get through this as a senior not very brave.

Today I took a moment for myself by sitting at my patio table with a cup of coffee, and a random neighborhood cat came by to keep me company. Very relaxing!
I like to read webcomics even though I should probably be reading books, but it’s something I do solely for my own enjoyment and not because of any intellectual benefit.
I groom my cat which helps take things off my mind.
Also, cooking meals for myself.
Since we added a screened-in porch this summer, I love to sit out there with my cup of coffee. I either have a fan or a heater on depending on the morning weather. It’s very relaxing.
Music, reading, and coffee all help!

Sudoku puzzles relax me and take my mind off the problems of the day.

I take time for myself by having girls day with my sister and my nieces and we do whatever we want we all take turns picking out what everyone says s going to do for girls day.

My moment for myself is my commute to work. It amounts to almost two hours per day. I listen to one of my favorite podcasts or to some of my favorite music.
Sometimes when I need time to myself I sit out on the back porch with my plants and take a deep breath and just count everything that I’m grateful for.

I’ve been sick for awhile, so I have been taking the time for myself to relax, de-stress and trying to get some relaxation techniques to help me with this. Stress is unfortunately taking its toll on my health and I need to work on wellness now.
I take a moment for myself when I am drinking my coffee in the morning.
I soak in a hot tub for about 10 minutes in the evening to unwind and relax my body and mind! It;s not much but its soothing

I wake up earlier these days to get my workout in. I used to avoid it but I’ve been appreciating the alone time and am happy I’ve been keeping this healthy habit.
Every time my cat asks for attention I try to be “there in the moment.” That means appreciating the simple pleasure of petting a sweet kitten who is just asking for a little love and attention, whether rubbing him or playing “go fish” with his toys.
I’ll take a walk around the neighborhood or in the park.
It’s important to take a moment out of my day and just say a prayer, or declare my gratitude. It soothes me and helps me carry on.
