Do you remember the old cloth diapers? I do and I remember the plastic pants my mom used to put on over them and how horrible they all were. To be honest that is why I have stayed away from cloth diapers. I have nightmares about them but I wanted to give them a try. The new ones are suppose to be much better. When I came across Thanks Mama I was impressed with their selection of not only cloth diapers but other baby items as well.
Thanks Mama sent me a bumGenius Freetime All-in-One One Size diapers to review. I was very impressed with how thick the diaper really is. I couldn’t believe it. The packaging said it was no leak diaper but I was still very skeptical though so I put it through my 3 cup test. My3 cup test is where I took 3 regular 12 oz. drinking cups, filled them with water, pour the water on the inside of the diaper only , and then let it sit overnight.Hubby said I put so much water in there that a baby would be screaming if it was that wet. The next morning when I woke and checked the diaper I was more than amazed. Even though I had put way more water than what a baby would “tinkle” into the diaper the outside was completely dry! Not a single drop had come out of the diaper. I have officially been converted!!

That is impressive, 3 cups is a lot for a diaper to hold – especially cloth. I too steered away from cloth diapers with my kids. Looking back now I see how much money I could have saved not buying Pampers, Huggies, etc. with each child.

Cloth diapers have sure come a long way. If I had a need for them I would definately give them a try. When my kids were in diaper age they were still the ones you had to fold yourself and figure out how to pin them on and that wasn’t that long ago. It’s great to see that they have made them so much better now. Thanks for the review!

I really like the direction cloth diapers have taken.. and glad to see more use them again. When my daughter was in diapers I only used the throw aways for when I took her out somewhere where a cloth diaper would be difficult to take care of- these look a lot better!
