I love when I see things that I grew up with that my children find joy in a s well. Especially when those things are books! I love sharing how much I enjoyed the characters or the stories of how I received the particular with them. One of those particular stories is with The Berenstain Bears’ Family that I used to read to my younger siblings all the time. My younger brother loved these books and we would spend hours reading the stories.
Well now my children are joining The Berenstain Bears in one of their new titles, The Bernestain Bears’ Please & Thank You Book. While Mama Bear is making some delicious cookies the cubs are reminded of the importance of manners as they wait and then enjoy their yummy snack. Even Papa Bear gets into the action by remembering and demonstrating his good manners. Stan and Jan Berenstain, the original authors of the series have both passed away but their son Mike is now keeping up that tradition and creating new adventures and lessons.
We love this book so much! I have been reading it to the twins as part of our morning and bedtime book rotation. They love hearing the stories and since I grew up watching the show as well I am here to tell you that I think I do pretty good Mama and Papa Bear voices. I admit there are some moments when I have an eerie sense of deja vu and I feel like I am reading to my brother or keeping asking for just one more time!

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
