How many times does this happen to you? You are enjoying something cold to drink but your ice melts and you end up with a watered down mess. It happens all the time to me, especially when I am working because I get into the zone and forget to drink my drink. I have tried just about everything out there and then I came across LovEasyLiving Stainless Steel Ice Cubes or Whiskey Stones as they are also called.
I was intrigued because they are designed for, you guessed, when you are enjoying whiskey or any other alcoholic beverage over ice. After all who in the world wants to pay good money for a nice drink only to have it end up watered down. The Whiskey Stones are stainless steel and can keep your drink cold for up to 2 hours. Using them is very easy. I washed mine first in some mild soap just because I am weird that way. You place them in the freezer for 2 to 4 hours and so they get cold enough to use.
Then when you are ready you simply pop them into your drink and away you go. Since I live in the South I figured I could really put these puppies to the test. It has been getting almost 100 degrees here so I popped them into my favorite cup, put my drink over them, and headed outside. I sat in the shade for a good hour and my drink stayed nice and cold the entire time. Now does that mean that they would have kept my drink just as cold in the direct sunlight, I’m not sure and truth be told I don’t want to find out. Heat stroke is not on my agenda this year. All in all, the Whiskey Stones did just what they were supposed to do and I can easily see myself buying another set. They even have a handy little bag that you put the ones you aren’t using in. It’s a win-win for everyone. Especially for your drink!
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

These look pretty neat. I once won similar ‘stones’ (not from this company) but they never arrived, lol. I’ve always wondered if they really worked.

I love this idea..I always hate using ice cubes that have been sitting in plastic, trying to do away with plastic in our life

These look like great stones.

We were just talking about how drinks get watered down. This would be a great idea for a stocking stuffer at Christmas.

Looks like a neat invention. I sometimes freeze fruit to use as ice cubes.

These are pretty cool. I can’t stand watered down drinks.

Stones of steel, cool. My doctor had to remove my whiskey stones…
