The Cat’s Meow Giveaway Hop

I was planning on sitting down and do something big with this hop over the weekend. However, on Friday night my mother went into the hospital with chest pain. So now we are splitting our time between the hospital and everything else. So I thought I would keep it super simple with everything and just do another gift card. They have actually been pretty popular. I must thank The Mommy Island and The Kids Did It for hosting this hop.

Keeping it simple is just what I needed for today. As you read this, hopefully, the doctor has told us what is going on and then I will spend a few hours with Ma. I will be working late this evening so if you send me an email or a comment needs to be approved it will be late before that happens today. I didn’t realize just how much Ma does around here until she’s not here to do it. I mean I know she does a lot and helps in all sorts of areas where she can. However yesterday and this morning was rough without her. She normally gives the kids breakfast and walks with them to the bus stop. I got them fed and took them to school so I could get the twins to a sitter and then head to the hospital. Let me tell you they were not happy. However, they can’t go into the hospital right now. There were a lot of tears and whys this morning.

  15. New curtains and placemats are an economical way to kind of spruce up the place. I’m sure they look great, but I don’t see a picture of them on this page. Hope your mom is doing okay. It’s so hard to have a family member in the hospital.
