The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation is the sequel to The Dog Who Saved Christmas. Just days before Christmas, and the Bannister family is ready to settle in at a cozy cabin in the snowy Rocky Mountains for a quiet holiday. But the unexpected arrival of Belinda’s (Elisa Donovan, Clueless, the Dog Who Saved Christmas) rowdy brother, Randy (Casper Van Dien, Starship Troopers) throws a wrench in their plans and irks uptight George (Gary Valentine, The Dog Who Saved Christmas. )When Zeus, the Bannisters’ dog (voiced by Mario Lopez, Saved by the Bell,The Dog Who Saved Christmas), falls for Randy’s poodle, Bella (voiced by Paris Hilton, House of Wax, The Simple Life), things get out of hand. Add to that the arrival of two of the stupidest criminals ever (who also happen to be the ones Zeus stopped from robbing the family last Christmas) and this vacation takes a new turn. A twist of fate puts Stewey (Joey Diaz, The Dog Who Saved Christmas) and Ted (Dean Cain, Lois and Clark, The Dog Who Saved Christmas) on Zeus’ trail this time around, but when they threaten Bella’s life, the former police dog springs into action to rescue his beloved and save the family’s holiday.
I never saw the first one of these movies but let me say I found this one very cute. All of the actors do a great job of conveying their characters. However there are some times when the movie seems to drag just a bit, but truthfully the kids will never notice. They will be too wrap up in what’s going to happen to care. All in all this was a good movie that my family will watch again and again.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
