Well it is month 6 and the end of my Shaklee180 journey has come. This journey has taught me so many different things and I really could not be more pleased with how things have turned out. When I started this journey I weighed 210 lbs and now at the end of it I weigh 163. That is 47 lbs which may not seem like a lot to most of you but trust me for me it is like losing a person.
The last few weeks I have seen an increase in weight loss as I have begun running (slowly) and it is something that I am going to continue to do 5 days a week. It has really helped me clear my mind and I have slowly begun to sleep better. I still have a horrible soda addiction that I am working on but I am taking it one day at a time. I told you when I first started that I wanted to be able to wear my favorite tee, the picture above was me when I first started. I now wear a size 10 (I was an 18) and the favorite tee no longer fits at all.
I recently bought myself this amazing dress! My arms are still in need of some work but that is okay, I am getting there. My starting measurements were Chest: 44 Arms: 16 Waist 43 Hips: 50 Thighs: 26. My measurements today are: Chest: 34 Arms: 12 Waist 28 Hips: 36 Thighs: 20. I think my thighs are mostly muscle now which is great and I do have some extra skin that my doctor thinks we will have to have removed. I just stretched my poor skin in a couple of places to the point that it won’t tighten up. I didn’t reach my goal of 125 lbs but that is something I am still working on. What I gained was so much more. I have learned to eat better, to love myself, and have become such a stronger person. Saying thank you to Shaklee is simply not enough, there are no words to explain how wonderful I now feel.
What You Should Know about Shaklee180
Shaklee180 came with everything I needed to achieve my success. The shakes, once I figured out the flavors I liked, were great and I had them for breakfast everyday. I used the meal bars for lunch and then the snacks bars for my snacks. I replaced my coffee with the tea. The Metabolic Boost I think is what really helped the most!

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Wow, that is amazing. You have worked really hard on this. Great products help, sure, but it’s your own willpower and hard work that make the products work. I”m sharing this with my daughter, she may be interested in trying the shakes at least (she just needs to loose about 10 lbs and stop the gaining). congrats!!

WOWZA! That incredible! in 6 months I lost 7lbs then gained 9lbs GRRR I felt like a giant yoyo! After seeing your journey it makes me confident that I can do it too! Honestly I am always skeptical about most of these types of products, but I truly trust and value your opinion so maybe it’s time for me to give it a try! Congrats! you should be EXTREMELY proud of yourself!

AMAZING! This is so good, Rita! I love the dress—and a size 10! I’d like to get to where the favorite tee shirt I have now is so big it becomes my sleeping shirt 🙂

What a huge accomplishment – congratulations! Best of luck sticking with the running. This is something I would like to take up, but I can’t find the time (yet). A friend of mine started running regularly about six months ago and she looks and feels fantastic!

Wow Rita! Keep up the good work and I think that losing 47 lbs is a lot to lose. I know I have tried losing a few here and there and it is not easy. Like you, I love my soda. I drink lots a day and it is diet but always have one with me. (after my coffee that is). I’m sure with you jogging 5 times a week, you will shed even more without even trying. So happy for you. Keep up the good work and keep us posted.
Rita says
Thank you so much Sandy.

Congratulations!! 47 pounds is totally awesome! You should feel so proud of yourself. Losing weight, needing to lose weight, wishing to lose weight is hard. The hardest part for me is keeping it off. I too have a soda addiction and haven’t even begun to address it. I try to drink more water but I have to add drops to it and they are expensive too. You totally rock that dress and are an inspiration!
