We have had a ton of doctor’s appointments in the last couple of weeks and one thing I noticed yesterday was that my current bag wasn’t cutting it. I love it and it is so cute but after I had to stuff my sweater, the kids light jackets, and other things in there it was super heavy. I typically take what I call my toddler bag with me. Regardless of who has the appointment I always have at least the twins as well as the senior citizens with me. That means I have to take a ton of stuff.

So I use diaper bag sized bag generally. This allows me to carry everything and most of the time be comfortable. I park as far out in the parking lot as possible so I can get some extra steps in although I do drop of the seniors at the door if they need it. That leaves me walking with the kids and all our stuff. I rarely take a stroller because I haven’t found one that allows me to get into the elevator and not fill like I am taking up all the room. Not to mention when you have to carry two kids those strollers can be heavy. I have had to tote one up the stairs and back down a few times.

Now I am on the hunt for the perfect bag! The one bag that will handle all of my mess and still be beautiful. It will just scream “TAKE ME WITH YOU!” What am I looking for in a bag?

Hold All My Stuff

It must be able to hold at the minimum three tablets, chargers, a bottle of water along with various cups for everyone. Snacks, my wallet, a book or two as well as all the medicines that I have to take with me. I need to be able to put inhalers, diabetes meds, epi-pens, and so much more. Did I mention I carry a crap ton of stuff with me? I’m one of those people who has it all in there.

Some Extra Room

I would love to have some room that if I need to shove a jacket in the bag won’t end up too bulky. This doesn’t happen often but there are times when I need to add a little to bag. Almost always I have to add in paperwork or prescriptions and such.

Easy Access

I would love a bag that allows me to put my cellphone and kids in a place that makes grabbing them easy. For example an outside pocket or something. Although I am not opposed to something else.

Carrying Options

Bags that convert into backpacks (THANK YOU GOD) or even ones that can be carried by handles are perfect. I need a bag that will work in all sorts of situations and not just going to the doctor. The perfect bag would be one that I would use as a handbag at times as well. for example grocery shopping or errand running. When we go on vacation, etc. This bag would be like my best friend.

Stylish

I want one that doesn’t scream diaper bag or mom bag. One that you would see and think “Wow! I wonder where she got that awesome bag at?” MY kids are too old to justify the cute baby bags.

WHAT I WILL BE SHARING

Every single bag that I review or use during this search will be discussed here on the blog. I will be taking pictures of the bag and talking about how well it works or doesn’t work. I will be showing you everything that I put into the bags and letting my readers know how the bag handled all of that. I will also be posting pictures of the bags in use on my Instagram. On December 31, 2018 I will share my Top 5 Favorite Bags and selecting 1 as the most perfect bag. As I said the bags will be used for all sorts of everyday life as well as going to appointments, errands, travel, and so much more. I will also be sharing my favorite accessories that I use with the bags.
