I have discovered another great place to purchase Latin products from! It is The Latin Products and they are right here in Georgia!! How cool is that? While I didn’t visit them I did order two items and game them a try. I must tell you that I was very thrilled to find a company within my own state. I knew that placing an order would mean I would get my item fairly quickly and I did.

I ordered a tortilla press and some Maseca Corn Tortilla Flour. Maseca is the best flour (in my opinion) to use for homemade tortillas. I got a press because I didn’t own one before.I know that is strange for someone married to a Mexican guy but I just didn’t have one. When had a taco party with my family so they could all experience my tortilla making skills and because we all like to get together a bunch.
The biggest hit in my home was the tortilla press. My aunt had the best time with this thing. I have never seen anything like it before. She had so much fun and enjoyed herself. Using a press is really easy. The paper in my pictures goes between the press and the tortilla itself. Some cooks use plastic wrap. I didn’t have any so I used parchment paper.
The Latin Products has so many items that I am sure you will all love as much as do. Have you used products from a Mexican store before? If yes, which ones?
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Well I checked and they don’t have the canned poblano peppers either. I had printed out a recipe for Chili Rellenos years ago and the blogger had used a large can of poblano peppers. I have looked everywhere and I can’t find them. Thanks for the source for other mexican grocery items though.

I will let them know and who knows maybe they will see about getting them! Do you have to use canned? Maybe try to your produce section for fresh.

I have never made homemade tortillas- we like the flour ones over the corn, but I do have to admit the home made are much better than store bought. My neighbor is married to a Mexican fella and we have had his tortillas (he makes them not his wife) and they are really good.About the only thing I buy in a Mexican/Latino store is the bottled soda.

Yeah the soda is good. I add a little flour to my mix to give it a better taste. We are use to the flour ones that is why as Americans we prefer them. If you get a chance made some corn ones and I promise you won’t go back.

I have purchased shampoo and conditioner from the Latin Products store last year which were awesome. I haven’t been able to access their store online within the past couple of days which is very frustrating because I want to order more.

I am not sure what is going on. I enjoy them a lot but have had some issues as well.
