The Men in My Life and Father’s Day

Most all of us have several men in their lives. Well at least two; your father and your husband. I also have brothers who for as much as they drive me crazy I love them and they are great fathers.  Father’s Day for me for the past twelve years has meant ordering flowers for my father’s grave. I can remember getting him gifts and him always knowing what they were before he opened them.  I did surprise him one time though and it was because I kept the gift at work and he wasn’t expecting anything. My dad and I had a special bond, he loved each and every one of us but him and I were connected. He delivered me because my mom went into labor at home and there was no time to get to the hospital. We would have lunch on Sundays together and he would go shopping with me, although there were certain sections of stores he refused to go (i.e purses, bras.)

  2. I can relate, my dad has spent 7 father’s days in heaven. I usually plant flowers at his grave and make it pretty. These are great sites for cards. I usually get my husband something for being a great Dad.

  3. Thats very neat you can have something translated or can personalize things! My own Father has been gone since 1976 , my Father in Law has been my Dad for 26 years now.

  4. Thats such a beautiful card I just recently met my father a few years ago and sadly I don’t have a great relationship with him, but this site would be great to buy a card for hubby from the little ones
