My Thoughts

 

The idea of someone who can use telepathy to manipulate his victims from thousands of miles away got me from the very beginning! The Mind Man takes you on a chase all over the world and the characters are varied, from the main Australian character of Adam, his love interest, Caren,  American cop, Ted, his , Sally, the English journalist, Laura, and the scientist Dr Zimmerman to name but a few of them. As an American though I did have a hard time with some of the parses Ted and Sally used. I have never heard an American use the term “bloody” as an expletive or say “hired” when they mean rented. However other than those few things I was captivated from beginning to end.
