About the Book:

My Thoughts:

I am not a big time travel novel fan. In fact I have only read one or two of them ever and one was for school if that tells you how long ago that was.  The Mine starts out slow but I will say that so did The Time Machine when I read it years ago. Being a girl not to judge a book based on a few pages I kept reading. I am glad that I did because the story picks up more as it goes. I had a really hard time liking Joelat first but then as he progresses he become a more likeable character. Keep your tissues handy as I cried while reading this. I really enjoyed The Mine in the end.Time travel novels may have a place in my future after all.
