Like most people I have heard of The Organic Pharmacy. I mean lets face it tons of celebrities use this company. What I of course didn’t know was how their products worked. So after pitching and having them agree to work with me I was somewhat excited. I felt glamorous! Don’t laugh, it’s not everyday that a mom in small town USA gets to feel glamorous. The Organic Pharmacy promises that they will not use artificial preservatives, colourants, or fragrances. No petrochemicals or animal testing. As a woman who is working towards being greener and more aware of the products I put into and onto my body.
The Flower Petal Deep Cleanser and Mask is designed for all skin types. It’s made with oats, blue chamomile, lavender, aloe, rose geranium, and green clay. To use you simply add 2 teaspoons to water and mix, making a paste. Apply it to damp skin with a pressing and lifting movement and then wait 2 to 5 minutes. It’s suggested for oily skin (like mine) that you use this four times a week. I pulled this out of the box, pulled my hair back and set out to be beautiful. When I opened the jar the first thing I notice is that it looks a little dirt, but hey if it works I’d put dirt on my face. I mixed everything up the way I was supposed to and applied. It’s a little tricky applying the Flower Petal Deep Cleanser and Mask, but once I washed it off my face looked and felt great. It seemed revived somehow.
{PROS} It works really well, my skin felt and looked clean
{CONS} Takes a little practice to get the application just right, I also wasn’t crazy about the smell. I’m allergic to lavender and this contains it so for me the smell was more than I could handle.
The Antioxidant Face Cream is also designed for all skin types. It’s contains propolis, horsetail, grapefruit, lemon, ginseng, marigold. To use this you simply mix a little with the Antioxidant Gel and the Antioxidant Serum, and then apply to your face. It is not suitable for night-time use. I did not however have the gel or serum so I used this alone. It worked well, smelled nice and didn’t leave my face greasy which I completely love.
{PROS} Not greasy, works well on its own
{CONS} For me a big con is the price. It is $72.00 and I just don’t have that to spend on a face cream.
{SHOP} You can shop The Organic Pharmacy at one of their retail locations or online.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
