We all have to do it most days well at least most of do. It’s shaving and if you have a man in your life you know how serious they take that. All of the men in my life take it seriously and I am thrilled to have discovered The Personal Barber that, in my opinion, is the perfect subscription box for men. Now that is not to say that women wouldn’t appreciate it at all because I am sure they would but this just screams MANLY to me.

As you can see with your first box you get everything you need to get started including a safety razor and a brush. I love the brush because it is just so proper looking. The bar of shaving soap is great as well. Honestly I think the only thing that could have made this kit better was a shaving cup. I gave this to Charlie to use and he really loved it. He said he was a little nervous of the razor at first but once he started using it there was no nervousness at all. I think he was nervous because the razor looks a bit old world scary and you have to put blades in it. That is really something that we do nowadays. The shaving guide really helped him and he even said that he realized he had been shaving the wrong way for years.

Final Thoughts

The Personal Barber reminds me so much of a shaving kit that my great-grandfather had. I always thought it belonged in one of those old British movies. The one where there is a valet helping the Lord get dressed. It is a timeless gift that any man would love to receive.   3. I don’t know if I would do this as a subscription or just one box as needed. It reminds me of my grandpa’s shaving kit – but not so sure my husband would appreciate.
