I told you I was going to share the entire series (well at least the parts that have been written and published) with you today. This is parts 4-6 of the 9 part Protect Her Series. As before these are written novella style which means that they are approximately 20,000 words each and will have you searching for the next book as soon as you finish. Each one ends with a cliffhanger that rivals a soap opera. I swear I was like “WHAT!!!” every single time.
About the Series
Human. Angel. Demon.
Three species that have coexisted since the beginning of time, although humankind is blissfully unaware of the predators and protectors that walk among them. But there is a new threat emerging that affects them all.
The story continues as Paige and Riley struggle to find a way to avoid their seemingly inevitable destines. Their relationship holds the key to saving everyone.
Part Four
I watched Paige disappear before my eyes. She slipped through my fingers and is now a prisoner of Bruno Proctor, the same demon official who killed my family. I have to find her before she succumbs to the same fate.
Meeting Paige might not have been as accidental as it first appeared. Our fates are intertwined. To find out why, I have to work with demons who are looking for Paige for far more dangerous reasons.
Time is running out. Our fight isn’t just about life or death anymore. We’re fighting for Paige’s soul.
After the cliffhanger in Part Three I was a bit worried about Part Four but of course Ivy Sinclair did NOT disappoint. In Part Four we have Riley trying frantically to save Paige. Benjamin has to go back to deal with his brothers but I must save that for someone who professes to love Paige he doesn’t respond the way that Riley does. The action is this book is a bit more toned down and you really get to learn a bit more about Riley here which only makes him more lovable.
Part Five
I rescued Paige from the jaws of Hell, but neither one of us will be safe for long now that Paige has betrayed her agreement with the demon official, Bruno Proctor. While we both separately made demon blood pacts to ensure our survival, the consequences of those decisions will come back to bite us in the ass.
Forced to rely on the promise of a safe haven by the demon Abigail, we traveled to her farm which is populated by the human disciples of Eva. I intend it to be a short stay, but Paige finds comfort in the familiar environment that reminds her of her childhood. We’re growing closer, but I can’t help but question if our feelings are the real deal or the product of a predestined future.
With limited options and a list of enemies growing by the day, I have no choice but to delve further into the myth of Eva and her Protector. Everything hinges on locating an ancient relic of destruction, which could prove to be Paige’s salvation or everyone’s doom.
In Part Five I was a little unsure of Abigail and her cult and make no mistake that is what they are. I knew there was something wonky about her. It just goes to show that you can’t trust a demon but then again who in their right mind would. It is here also that we meet Riley’s sidekick who by the way is funny and entertaining. Not to mention Riley and Paige FINALLY (why do author’s like making me wait? If they knew how crazy that made me they wouldn’t torture me that way!) begin exploring their feelings more. There is plenty of action here and some things begin to start making sense more like the attraction Paige and Riley have not to mention his tattoo.
Part Six
I thought we ditched the looming shadow of the demon official, Bruno Proctor. But Bruno hasn’t forgotten about the blood pact that Paige made with him while she was his captive. Not by a long shot, and now the bastard’s ready to collect.
Bruno offers us a new deal that is even more precarious than the last one, but it’s one that neither one of us can refuse. We have to work for him to acquire the elusive relic that was hidden away by Paige’s old friend, the archangel Benjamin.
Before we hand over the relic though, I want to know exactly what devil deal we’ve made. But the one who holds the answer has likely been dead for a thousand years. Now we have to find out where he’s buried, and hold onto each other, before Bruno figures out we are trying to double cross him. Again.
In Part Six there is plenty of action and Bruno Proctor (I really hope he gets his soon because I am ready to reach through the pages and rip out his throat) is one nasty, hateful dude. He gets both Paige and Riley to make blood pats with him and the thing is they realize after the fact that they may have been able to accomplish things without him. The problem is Paige doesn’t have a lot of faith in herself and worries Eva could break through. One of the most important things they learn in this part is that together they are stronger. They also learn much more about Eva and her Protector (three guesses who that may be now and the first two don’t count or I’m completely pulling your leg but you have to read to find out.)
More About The Protect Her Box Set: Parts 1-3
You can purchase this box set on Amazon. The best way to keep up with when the next book is coming out is to sign up for the newsletter over at the author, Ivy Sinclair’s, website. I did so I would know and be ready to jump at the chance.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
