John Fowler was one of the top FBI agents until a year undercover in the mob turned him into an alcoholic and may have led to the brutal death of his wife. His old team needs his help and has brought him in for what they think is a two week old case. The case is actually over 25 years old and involves some of the most powerful people in the world.

John Fowler has returned to the FBI after a three year layoff at the request of his team to try and solve a murder that they are having little to no success with. John has been given the promise if he agrees to help; he will be given the case file to his wife’s murder and be allowed to work on it. My Thoughts:

I love mysteries and this is by far one of the better ones. This is book one is a series and  I can’t wait for the others. the plot really keeps you going until the end and the characters are real. I read this in one night and was on the edge of my seat the whole time.

  3. I have a weakness for these type of books. Also check out the books by Lee Child. Sounds a lot like them! Only difference Jack Reacher is a ex Military Police. Good reads for sure, I am going to check these ones out.

  5. This book sounds like another great book to read! I like that John Fowler wants to work at changing his life to make it better for the ones he loves and to help solve an old murder! Another book that I think is well written!

  6. I love mysteries too. Sounds like a great book… I’m very interested in anything to do with investigators or detectives.
