From Smashwords:
The tribe has been alone on the farm for many seasons, struggling to survive by their wits and will, unaided by the humans who abandoned them there years ago. Few members of the tribe outside of Tia, the eldest, and her fiercely loyal companion Bella, remember a time when two-legs–the cats’ name for humans–lived in the farmhouse. Suddenly, the tribe’s territory is invaded by a young two-legs couple, and the frightened cats ask themselves why have two-legs come to live there after so many seasons and what will happen to the tribe at the hands of these often cruel creatures?
This book tore at my heart-strings. It is such an amazing tale of how animals and human interact with one another. I have also liked cats but now I think I may love them. Ever since the first meeting of Bell, Tia, and Daca I felt somehow drawn into their view of the world. They are so afraid of humans and unsure how to react.
Susan and her husband Rob bought the farm that the cats were living on, near starvation. Once Susan begins feeding and watering them everyday you can see the difference the cats quality of life takes. You also see the transformation the cats attitudes toward Susan changes.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
