I had no clue what the term ‘Mobius Strip’ meant when I first agreed to review this book so I went in search of the definition:
A Mobius Strip is actually a twisted ribbon or is described as a surface with only one side. It is the basis of some scientific models and is used as a metaphor by mathematicians and physicists.
When I looked at the pictures I thought of a rubber-band, sort of. Mr. Freese uses that metaphor to explain the possibilities which are beyond our comprehension and perception. The book is an array of essays which are written addressing a various aspects such as his reminiscences, observations, etc. The essays give the readers an insight into a thinking person’s mind.
I really liked this book and even though it is essays I found that I enjoyed that format much more than I thought I would. The most impressive part about these essays is that Mt. Freese seamlessly moves through all of these various topics without losing the attention of the reader. Readers will find many things to relate to during the whole narrative.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Glad you enjoyed the book, sounds a little technical and I still don’t get the concept of the Mobius Strip but I guess after reading the book you get the gist of it. Thanks for the review.

I have heard of a Mobius strip, but wondering what the essays are about?
Mathias B. Freese says
As the author allow me to clarify. The essays are about my life which I view metaphorically as a mobius strip. I had the chutzpah to review my own book because of reviews that missed the entire concept of what I was about. See that blog on my website.
