While some people embrace age gracefully, most of us hate the thought of getting old. In fact, most people spend almost their entire lives trying to look younger, which is ironic considering how we tried to look older in our younger years. With age comes lots of things that can massively knock your self-esteem and make it hard for you to see yourself as beautiful. While wrinkles and grey hairs aren’t necessarily a “problem”, the majority see them as one and feel the need to get rid of them to feel better about their appearance. If you’re in the majority, the tips and tricks below should help you look and feel beautiful again.
Wrinkles
No one can avoid wrinkles forever, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t delay the inevitable, at least until you reach an age that you feel wrinkles are appropriate. Wrinkles occur because the skin cells start to lose essential nutrients, and so the skin sags. To combat this, you need to keep your skin healthy, but taking vitamin C and biotin supplements. There are also different anti-ageing skin creams that you can use to tighten up your skin.
Sagging Skin
When you hit your twenties, your skin stops producing as much elastin and collagen, resulting in sagging and drooping skin, especially around the jaw and neck. If this is a big insecurity for you, then you might want to consider getting a lower face lift and neck lift. This is a perfect option if the rest of your face is showing few signs of ageing. If this seems a bit too drastic for you, you can always just slim your jaws. There are other skin-tightening treatments out there that trigger the production of collagen.
Weight Gain
It’s pretty common for people to gain weight as they get older. Once you’ve had a child or two, your life gets pretty busy, and it’s often difficult to keep up with exercise or remember to eat properly. The stress doesn’t help either, especially if you tend to stress eat. Luckily, whatever weight you’ve gained can be burned off and turned into muscle; You just need to remember to eat right and make exercise a priority. You may have children and a job, but there will always be some free time for you to take a brisk walk.
Grey Hair
Grey hair tends to be the first sign of ageing that people spot. Thankfully, a grey hair here and there isn’t going to turn into a whole head just yet, so don’t panic right away; It can take years or even decades for you to become a fully fledged silver fox. If you’re really self-conscious about your grey hairs, dying your hair is the simplest solution. This could be a great opportunity for you to change hair colour if you want. Of course, you’ll have to keep dying once you’ve started, but that’s a small price to pay if it helps you feel better about the way you look.
If you’re happy to age gracefully and have fully embraced your grey hairs and wrinkles, then good for you, but if you haven’t, there are plenty of things that you can do to boost your confidence and help you to feel beautiful again.

Very good tips. I have decided to embrace the gray, I have strands throughout my hair and it is really coming in at my temples. If you are going to just go with it you should switch to products with silicone. I use Biosilk,. I know that there are a lot of pros and cons about silicone based hair products but it is the only way for me to control the unruly gray strands,

If I had the funds, I’d have some things done. But either way, I do concentrate on a healthy lifestyle, that seems to help and doesn’t cost anything.

Creams, serums, lotions and more … Fighting the aging battle is exhausting! I’ve come to terms with the fact that nothing short of a face lift, is going to diminish fine lines and wrinkles, except for botox and #nope at putting botulism beneath my skin.

Some great ideas, and I appreciate the suggestions. Most times, when I bring up my aging face and body, my husband and daughter say, “you’re beautiful just the way you are”. Even if I appreciate that (which I do), it doesn’t make my sagging face look better to me.
