I have been attempting to move more although I will say that this stomach flu has got me down. In an effort to help myself with that I knew I need a tool that would show me how much I am moving. So when TomTom told me they thought their TomTom Touch was perfect I said alright. I’ve tried other devices like these before and was left a bit unnerved after wearing them a few times.
The TomTom Touch is a fitness tracker that you wear and it works with the TomTom Sports app. Downloading the app is free and it is pretty useful. You can set goals, keep up with you weight there, and a few other things. I actually connected to you a food diary app that I have and they work together. Well they work together when I’m working together with them.It tracks 24 hours, including your sleep. I don’t wear it when I sleep but that is a personal thing. It is touch screen, you just slide your finger along and it will give you your information.
There is a sports mode which you can use when you start your activity and then when you stop. This is great for when you are on the treadmill or whatever. It logs everything as gym but in the app you can change that. I haven’t been able to get the body composition to work but I have read online that it has to done a certain way and I’m pretty sure I am not accomplishing that. I do use the built-in heart rate monitor which really helps. I have to be real careful about how high my heart rate goes.

All in all this was an amazing item. It fit snugly on my wrist and did everything it was suppose to do. I think I will upgrade once I get more active to one of their watches because they are awesome looking! I wouldn’t think of a Tom Tom having an activity tracker. Sounds interesting. Does it tell you when you have a text or call?
It does! Sorry I meant to put that down. Any time you have a call or text it vibrates on your wrist. The first time, it freaked me out.
I like that you can set goals and keep up with your weight on it.
Awesome! Different from a fitbit equally as functional and twice as cool!
