It would be wonderful if science could hurry up and invent teleportation, but for now traveling has to be something we all bear to get where we want to go. We can’t wish ourselves into new places. We can learn to travel and travel in style.
Exclusivity when traveling and enjoying visiting beautiful countries comes with the territory, especially if your plans involve you throwing a dart at a far-flung map. You want to stay stylish, you want to show off your fashion sense, and you want to be able to travel in complete style. But it’s not easy to do when you’re tucked up in cabin glass and you have no option but to move your seat back and hope.
Traveling from A to B on a vacation with friends is so much easier when you know that you’re traveling in business class at the beginning and getting a car service at the other side to take you privately to your hotel. Traveling in style is something that anybody can afford with enough savings, so making sure that you plan your future travels is going to help you to budget better. Let’s take a look at how you can travel in better style.
- Start with your luggage. A set of huge, luxurious suitcases can be both beautiful and practical. Choosing something in sturdy leather is a great choice so that it doesn’t get scuffed while in transit and you can match your luggage to your passport cover, your tag, and your personal bag if you really want to be dropping with style before you get anywhere. You want to colour coordinate and tell a story through the things that you are carrying and a bright suitcase speaks of a tropical paradise, whereas a sensible leather satchel talks of a fashionable businesswoman.
- Don’t sweat it out in cattle class. Economy travel is the cheapest way to go, but it’s not always the most comfortable. If you have the ability to upgrade your travel to a new cabin class, then go for it. Use any credit card points you may have, or flier miles, or even ask your family if they’ve got any miles you can borrow. Upgrading from cattle class to premium economy or even business class can really help you to travel and start.
- Bring a few things to freshen up on the way. Even if you’re in business class, long haul travel can take a toll on your skin. Bringing wet wipes, a comb, lip balm, toothbrush, and a mini deodorant can help you to feel more human wherever you are in the sky. Long haul travel of 14 hours or more can be very difficult on the body, so don’t forget to also pack a sheet mask and some of your favorite cosmetics so that you can have yourself a spa moment when you arrive at the hotel.
- Book everything ahead. From the car service that picks you up from the airport to the limo service that takes you back to the airport. You need to make sure that you make your trip memorable by booking everything ahead. Not only will you be able to catch some amazing discounts, but you’ll be able to feel like you are not having to run with the masses. Instead of queuing up for a coach or a bus to take you to your resort, make sure that you have a way to travel in style.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
