TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION

Are you and your family fans of the TRANSFORMERS movies? We are, although I admit that I came a bit late to the game. I grew up with TRANSFORMERS (don’t tell anyone because it tells my age) and when the movies first came out it was more a less, “Been there seen that!” Then my brother in-law rented them and we watched them and I was like “WOW!” So now I am super excited about TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION  and can’t wait for it to come out.

My younger brother had everything TRANSFORMERS growing up and we were forever having to play with him. I never got to be an Autobot so one day I hid all of the Deceptacons so I could be on the good team. It didn’t work though because he made me play with another stupid car and pretend it transformed.

TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION is the fourth film of the franchise and like the others is directed by Michael Bay. I really love his style of movies. There is plenty of action  but he doesn’t leave us wishing we had watched something less gorgy. It stars Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Li Bingbing, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, T. J. Miller, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor and Titus Welliver, all of whom are great actors. If you have seen the other movies then you know of the epic battle that took place in the last one.

This movie picks up after the battle with a city torn apart but the world saved. However a shadowy group reveals itself as humanity attempts to pick up the pieces of life after the battle. The group attempts to control the direction of history and Earth is once again in trouble. There is a new cast of humans and Optimus Prime (with the ever fabulous voice of Peter Cullen) and the Autobots must meet their most fearsome challenge yet. If the battle in the last movie was epic the battle across the world in this one is colossal. Check out the trailer for yourself:

  1. Oh this looks good! I am not a huge fan of the Transformer movie series but I do have to say I love Mark Walhberg. He is one of the main reason I will go see it besides the fact that both my kids want to see it really bad. Thanks for the clip!

  3. My family is really excited to see this movie. We a huge fans of the previous ones. The trailors they have been playing on TV look super awesome. Tons of action in this one!!

  4. My nephew loved transformers over 30 years ago and now my great nephew loves them also,,funny how that goes
