One thing about traveling is the need to have something to drink with you at all times. That sounds easy right? Well when you are traveling with kids it is much easier said than done. There are times when you think the car has become a cesspool for all of the drinks and food they spill. Not to mention the stuff I spill. That is where Contingo comes in. They help you have your soda and drink it too. Rather than spill it all over the floor.  

Coffee to Go

Since I don’t really drink coffee anymore I knew that the AUTOSEAL® West Loop was the perfect for Ma. She drinks coffee and on the go plenty of times. One thing that I do adored is the fact that she nor the kids can spill it. It has an AUTOSEAL® button which means you have to press it in order to drink and when you let go it seals right back up. Awesome right? It will keep your hot drinks hot for 5 hours and  cold ones up to 12 hours. We tried both and the coffee was still hot just past the five hour mark while the cold drink was cool. It wasn’t still ice cold but cool enough to still be refreshing. Just and FYI there are some awesome coffee mugs on the Contigo site. Including an ombre one that makes me wish I was drinking coffee regularly again.

For the Kids

Sam loves the spill-proof kids tumbler since it is blue. It is available in four different color patterns so there is one that your child will love. A huge plus is that this resembles those adult tumblers that are so popular. It means the kids can one as well but without the mess of it all. The straw goes into a seal-proof valve which means even when it is turned upside down nothing is coming out. Since Sam tends to spill from time to time (not to mention he is still a thrower) this is perfect. It is top rack dishwasher safe and the straw twists apart for easy clean up. 

Hello Water

For myself the AUTOSEAL® Chill stainless steel water bottle is perfect. I take it with me when I workout but I also use it at night. I like to keep on my night stand to drink if I wake up during the night. This bottle is perfect because it has that awesome button that means it won’t spill. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I have knocked a glass of water over and spilled it. It also keeps water cold for a whopping 28 hours! Yes you read that correctly and I tested it thoroughly!
