When you are out and about traveling around with baby you are going to, at some point, need some sort of seating when you go out to eat. Now you can rely on the ones that are in the restaurant or you can bring your own. Svan has you covered with the Totseat which is a fabric chair harness and 100% portable.
We received a Totseat to try out and I have fallen in love with this. I will be purchasing a second one so that both the twins have one of their own to use. First it folds up very nicely and doesn’t take up a lot of space in the diaper bag. It attaches to the chair and if done correctly holds baby securely the table with you. I say if done correctly because I didn’t at first. For some reason I had a hard time getting it attached the first time. I should say that it does attach very easily and thanks to my OCD some things that are easy I tend to over think and make them twice as hard.
It is designed to fit just about any chair and really the only time I can see you not being able to use this is if there is no chair available at the restaurant. The Totseat is for children ages 8 months to 30 months old and they must be able to sit up on their own without any help in order to use it. It does NOT provide support for a child to sit up and should NOT be used as such. Another great thing is that it is machine washable which means after you get done using it and the kids have squished just about everything on the table into it you can toss it into the washer and clean it. That is not only refreshing but such a relief. No fuss, no muss cleaning!
