That’s right you read that title correctly. I have these pair of pants (shown in the picture) that are my all time favorite pants. They are so ugly but I can’t bring myself to throw them out. I actually got these babies from my sister in-law because she was getting rid of them.
They are covered in paint on the butt but feel so great. I wear them around the hose mostly, to do yard work and various other things. Although I do admit to having wore them to the grocery store a time or two. They are the embarrassment of my family and I know I shouldn’t wear but I can’t help myself. My ugly pants have pockets and so few comfy pants have pockets.
The down side is that these pants are the best and worst things for my diet. They are the best because I can work out in them and not worry about how they look on me as they are a bit big. The downside is that the waist band is stretchy which means I will not notice if I have gained a pound or two.
Tell me about your ugly pants!
Do you own a pair that is just awful and you need to throw them out but can’t? Share with us, we won’t judge!

Boy oh boy do I have ugly pants and shirts. I have several sweatshirts that have holes and paint stains and I have cut the neck for more room. I love my sweatshirts! My kids think they are the worst things on earth.

actually all of mine are at work, and I try to get my sis ugly pants as well as tops for work too!!! Usually have to throw mine out after a year or less as the cleaners eat away at the fabric

*sigh* I also love my ugly pants! And I have ugly t-shirts to go with. I know exactly what you mean about them not being helpful for my diet–they are so comfy that I don’t even think about my waistline.

I have a really ugly pair of pants that I have had for like 10 years that are like yours, stretchy but the color is black! I even have holes in them, but I continue to wear them as my pajamas and I will not get rid of them until they fall off!

I have a pair of ugly pants, but they’re so old that I don’t wear them out in public. Now they’re just for lounging out at home or wearing to bed. They have also been worn through messy activities and gardening. Comfortable pants with pockets warrant second-thought in my opinion, on their usefulness. There’s just that comfort level that some clothes get over time that you just can’t help but appreciate and ugly pants fall in that category.

I don’t really have any ugly pants but most of the clothes I’ve had for years as I don’t buy much for myself. So unfortunately a lot of my clothes are what I would call raggedy. Funny story though.

I am sorry to say that I do have a couple of “ugly outfits” that I cannot bear to part with much to my family’s dismay. But your are right ~ they are so comfy! I too, have been guilty of running a quick errand in them. But I try to just wear them around the house. LOL You rock them!
