There is one thing that every woman wants from her lingerie and that is to feel pretty. Don’t get me wrong looking sexy in it is right up there in the top five things to feel but if she doesn’t feel pretty when she puts it on then she is less likely to wear it. Us women are fickle that way. We are really tough on ourselves and how we look. Even when we look utterly sexy and beautiful we don’t always feel that way. Pretty is something that we settle for and feeling pretty can make all the difference in if we an item. Vanity Fair Lingerie helps us with that because their items are so beautiful not to mention functional. After all, a girl really wants it all.

My Thoughts
I received three different bras to try out and enjoy and can I just say that I am SO thrilled to have couple two in the purple color family! 🙂 The first bra was the Vanity Fair Beauty Back in Walnut but let me tell you it is much more of a light lavender to me. I love how my back looks much smoother in this one. Of course I am a bit color blind. Features include:
- Thick, adjustable straps for comfort and support
- Smooth under-wire contour cups
- Two-ply wings for extra smoothing
- Leotard back to prevent straps from slipping
- Double back hook-and-eye closure
- Nylon/spandex
- Hand wash
Just a FYI I hand wash all of my lingerie items to make them last as long as possible. A good tip for bras with under-wire is to wrap them in a towel when trying to wring all the water out. The towel will soak up most of the water allowing them to dry quicker. This bra feel great on and has become my everyday bra for most days (after I can’t really wear it under white.) It looks great under a t-shirt which is what I wear most of the time.
The Vanity Fair Beauty Back Full-Figure with Lace is my make me feel oh so pretty bra. This one is sexy with the lace but very functional which means the “girls” get the lift they need without me being uncomfortable. Features includes:
- Adjustable straps
- Lace detail under cups and on wings
- Back smoother
- Nylon/spandex
- Machine washable
Again I hand wash mine. This bra feels really great on and even though you have that lace it still wears well with a t-shirt. I save it for my dressier shirts just because I like to feel extra pretty when I dress up. Again my back ends up looking great and no back fat which a bigger girl like me sometimes has.
The Vanity Fair Illumination Bra is super nice. Features include:
- Satin details
- Leotard back
- Seamless cups
- Built-up adjustable shoulder straps
- Underwire
- 3-row hook-and-eye back closure
- 4-row hook-and-eye back closure for sizes 40-42D, 38-42DD
As you can see it comes in the bigger sizes which is great. This one also works well with a t-shirt although again I don’t wear it with white. This one is my errands bra because I am going to be honest and tell you that it supports me so well. On errand days I am running around like crazy and the last thing I need to be doing is tugging my bra straps up or making readjustments to the girls. I don’t have to do it with this bra.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

These are really nice looking bras but for me it’s all about the fit. So far, Olga bras work the best for me especially when I can get a good sale on them.

They are as lovely, or more, than the bras that I buy from Victoria’s Secret.

These are all so pretty! I love that they’re comfy and supportive too. My current fave bra us by Vanity Fair. It has the leotard back you mentioned, and really makes my clothes look smooth.
