Vexation is about a girl,Devin, who is kidnapped and suffers so much mental torture that she is not sure who she is any more, good or evil. She escapes, but does her mind? Is she being watched by the evil Grandfather?

Typically when a book starts slow I return it. If I can’t get into it I feel it’s not fair to keep a book. However Vexation seemed to draw me in. With the turn of each page you are on the edge of your seat. It’s like watching one of those Lifetime movies. You just can’t turn away no matter how much you want to.
I think that is what Elicia Clegg wanted when she wrote this book. She wanted you thrown off balance a bit. This is a great book for teens as well as parents to read. It shows us how the world really is with of it’s wickedness and evil. Bravo Ms. Clegg!!
