Vinolicious from OWG is OMG!

Having a glass of wine every once in a while is one of those things that reminds me I am an adult. I spend so much time talking with kids that I forget it occasionally. While wine on its own is great there is nothing better than wine that gets a little crazy! What do I mean by that? Imagine a frozen drink that is made with wine, that’s what I mean. Thanks to OWG (Old World Gourmet) you can have just that with their Vinolicious line. These are not your same old frozen drinks either. They somehow are so much better. I received three and I love them all so choosing a favorite is not an easy task.

The first one I tried was the Peach Bellini and as a Georgia Peach myself  I can tell you that I have had my share of peaches and peach flavor in my life. It is hard to find a flavor that can live up to that homegrown taste I am use to. That said I must say that I could not believe how wonderful this tasted.  It was like drinking a real peach.

Next was the Lemoncillo Freeze which I really enjoyed as well. I have never had a Lemoncillo before so I really can’t say how much like the drink this tastes. All I do know is that would be perfect on a hot summer day. I mean if there was a Lemonade stand selling these I would stand there all day.

Finally was the Wine Ice which was good. It tasted the way I would imagine wine doing if it was able to actually freeze in the bottle. You know what I mean? Like the way a soda tastes all the better when it gets left in the freezer. One of the best thing about all of these was that you can use whatever wine you choose although they do have a suggested wine listed.

I used the suggest wines so that I could get the flavors that are intended but hey, use whatever floats your boat. In fact you could even do non-alcoholic drinks as well. There are several flavors to choose from so there is sure to be something that you love.
