Vitrazza Glass Chair Mat

I don’t know if y’all know but my “office” is an area in my living room. Actually it is more in the foyer part since my living room, dining, and kitchen is all one large open area. The issue is there is carpet there and that makes using my rolling chair more difficult. The same problem was with my massage recliner chair – it left dents on my carpet. That was until I discovered the Vitrazza Glass Chair Mat.

The Vitrazza Glass Chair Mat comes in a variety of a shapes and sizes. I got the Rectangle Glass Chair Mat in 36×48 size. I thought it would be the best size for the area I had. I was so excited about this mat. I sent a lot of time measuring and trying to figure out the best way to put it in my area. I ended up just putting it right up to my desk.

Those little tabs that see come with the mat and you just pop them on. They are designed to keep the mat off the carpet and flattening it. This is safety glass so you don’t have to worry about it breaking and cracking easily.

It also has Invisible Shield Pro 15 Coating which will help it resist fine scratches. That is something I love about it. It makes my office look fancy if I do say so myself. If you just ignore all the cords under the desk. That is part of my next project I’m gonna tackle.

It is very easy to clean and keeps the carpet underneath looking fresh. I will say it is a little heavy at 38 pounds. Not overly heavy but when I clean it or vacuum the carpet underneath I have Ma wipe it down or run the vacuum while I hold the glass up.

As you can see the mat is not super thick. I don’t trip over it or get anything caught on it. It sits nicely on the floor and gives me a smooth surface to move around on.

When I first put the Vitrazza Glass Chair Mat down it took me a week or so to get use to it. The reason is my chair would slide so easily across it whereas before I had to work to move it. The first time I sat down my chair went flying back. So I would suggest that if you don’t have a smooth surface normally be a little careful the first time you sit down. It will surprise you at how smooth this surface it.

My Vitrazza Glass Chair Mat is so wonderful and I am so thrilled to have one. I could not be happier with this. Honestly I can’t imagine my life without this now. It makes moving around my desk and office space so much easier. This has elevated my office space to make it much more elegant than it ever was.
