It is the last week of the month. Can you believe that? My week has been one of those “I just can’t take anymore weeks!” Not that anything bad happened but just a lot of little things that really get to you after a while. No worries though next month will be better I know it!
Thanks…..
Oh what to be thankful for this week? To be honest all I have to be thankful for this week is my children. They are the reason I get out of the bed each and every day and the reason I go through this crazy thing called life. What are you thankful for this week?
Prayer Requests….
May I ask that you all pray for me this week. Not any one thing in particular but just a general prayer. I will be praying for all of you and I hope that your week is as amazing as you all are. Please leave your prayer requests below.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I am thankful for family, good friends (online and IRL because they keep me sane), a roof over our heads and the prospects of good things to come. If you have time say a small prayer for us. I pray that even though last week wasn’t a bad week for you, that this week gets loads better.
Rita says
I will pray for you guys. I pray that things get better everyday for all of us!

I’m thankful that my uncle was rushed into the emergency room for surgery and that our loving God put his hands on the surgeons and everything went well and he is doing so well..so thankful! I will certainly add you to my prayers this week.

I am so glad that things turned out well. I will keep your family in my prayers as your uncle recovers.

I’m thankful for a great many things; especially as we near Ash Wednesday and I begin thinking about the grace that God has extended to us sinners! If I had to pick one particular thing to be thankful for this week it is for the opportunity to spend time with God this week, not only despite my irregular sleep patterns, but because God used them to make time for Him. I had a greater awareness, this week, of how much I am loved and valued by our Heavenly Father.
As for prayer requests, please pray that I would have an even greater desire to spend time with God and that I would make Him a priority in my life and schedule.
Thank you, Rita! I will also pray blessing for you and your family.

Ma and I were just talking about Ash Wednesday and I will be sharing information soon about it all. I will be praying for you Tammy.

I’m sorry it was such a trying week, but your positive attitude about it is inspiring! I have much to be thankful for, but sometimes I still feel like every day is an endless trudge. Please pray for me to see the beauty in my life, and not just the work and hassle.
Rita says
I will pray that you see the beauty in the everyday small things. I understand how trying it can be and how it is to see beauty in God’s work.

I am thankful for a safe move last week. It was stressful but it went without any big issues. Now i am facing possibly the biggest interview to date. I am honored to be asked to interview for this director position so early in my career. I know that God will be with me because I wish to do his work and know that if He wants me in this position it will be because of Him and I will not let him down. I wish to pray for God’s continued guidance and to show me the path.
Rita says
I pray that God gives you the guidance and direction that you need and that you get the job. I know you will be amazing at it.

Rita,
Thanks you so much for your prayers AND for this blog. It has helped me so much during this rough time in my life, but now I know what it was all for. I did get the job!!! And I start tomorrow; I am so excited. I know that God is in control and He wants me to do His work. I now pray to have the strength and his ever present guidance to continue to do his work in this position. I will be the director of counseling at a small Catholic college. It is a grant position. 🙂
Again, love your blog and keep it going. You will always be in my prayers, I’m so glad I found your blog.

I have been feeling super burned out and I really need to recharge my batteries please pray for me. On a different note there is always a lot to be thankful for, like my family and home.

I pray that you get the rest you need. Take some time everyday and just rest and recharge yourself. Even if it is only five minutes.

During Lent, I have realized how thankful I am for being lucky enough to always have access to food. By fasting, I have realized how much stuff is at my disposal and have been giving more money to food-related charities. So I am praying that more people are able to donate what they can (food, time, money, etc.) to help others in need.
Rita says
What a wonderful idea! It is true that when we fast we really see how much we have available and what we take for granted
