Did you all change your clocks this morning? Of course except those who live in Arizona as they don’t do Daylight Savings Time. I got tangled up in a movie last night and didn’t get to bed before 2:30 this morning but that is okay. I actually woke up with a new sort of vigor that I just cannot explain.
This week I am thankful for God being ever present in my life. Even on those days when I feel as though he is not there I know that he is. I need him now more than ever.I actually have no prayer request for myself this week. Please know that I am praying for each and every one of you and hope that you have a truly blessed week.
Please leave your thanks and/or your prayer request below.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

First off, I want to say thanks to God for granting me the opportunity to do His work. After over a year of not being able to find work, I have finally accepted a position at a small Catholic college as the director of counseling. I am excited that I begin this journey tomorrow! My prayer this week is that God continues to provide me with strength and guidance to do a good job. It will be challenging but I’m up for it!
This past year I struggled seeing his Plan for me; but now I know what it is. All those rejection letters (aka closed doors) were leading up to this, I know it now.
Thanks Rita for providing this blog for us to share and pen our prayers. It is a blessing and you are too.

I am thankful for my wonderful supportive family. It has been a tough week for me and they have been there for me. I would like to ask for some extra prayers this week for my aunt Linda. She has been very ill the last week. I don’t know how my uncle will survive if we loose her. Thank you!
Rita says
Tammy, I will be saying an extra pray for your aunt and for you. I hope that God blesses you this week and that it is better than the last.

I am thankful that God sustains me he is certainly the glue holding me together. It would be so easy to fall apart without his presence in my life. I am hoping to hear about an opportunity this week, I know that if it is in God’s will it will happen, just pray for me that I do hear soon.
Rita says
I pray that you hear very soon and that it is all good news.

My husband had to work last weekend and he needs to be there at 7 a.m., so we changed the clocks in anticipation of that. I always feel cheated “springing forward” but it was OK this weekend. The kids were a little harder to get to bed than usual but nothing major. I am thankful we are all healthy and happy.
