Wearing a T-shirt with comments or saying can tell a person a lot about you! It can tell someone your beliefs, how you live, your interests and your dislikes, however you want to be careful what you tell people. They may get the wrong message!
Band T-shirts
Band t-shirts tell who your favorite band is, or even what bands or musicians you are fond-of. This also, tells people what kind of music you like, whether it is heavy metal, or hip-hop.
Celeb T-shirts
Wearing a t-shirt that has a celebrity on it usually tells people what celebrities you like. Unless the shirt has a rude saying on it; that usually tells people you are NOT fond of them! I have seen many t-shirts with the “Team Aniston” or “Team Jolie”, whichever one of those you had on would tell whose side you were on.
Pet T-shirts with sayings
These are so cute! When a t-shirt has an animal such as a puppy or kitten, and has a cute saying on it, it tells people you are an animal person and that you have a soft side! I saw a T-shirt the other day that had a puppy on it and it said, “My therapist has a wet nose”. This would tell people that your puppy is your “therapist”, or the thing that makes you feel better.
Religious or Political T-shirts
When you are wearing a T-shirt that slanders the president or a specific religion, it shows people that, for one, you do not like that specific view, and for two, do not care what anyone else thinks about it. I am pro standing-up-for- yourself and standing up for what you believe in, but T-shirts that are slandering to certain views should be off the shelves! Some people are very religious; if you wear a shirt around them that offends their religion, they could get very angry with you. I think slandering T-shirts are rude, and inconsiderate if it is about religion or politics. Both of those subjects are very touchy when discussed, so we should leave it out of printed on t-shirts.
Brand T-shirts
Do you have a shirt from Gucci? Do you wear a t-shirt that has a Volcom logo on it? Brand T’s, or logo T’s may make people assume you are interested in what the brand represents. For example, if you are wearing a T-shirt from Gucci, someone will automatically assume you have a lot of money because Gucci is very expensive. If you are wearing a Volcom shirt, they may assume you skateboard because Volcom is skateboarding brand.
Holiday T-shirts
Holiday T-shirts can be fun, be sometimes people over-do it! However, holiday T-shirts can show people what holidays are your favorite, but they are usually appropriate during the holidays. If you are wearing a T-shirt with a clover on it and it says, “Kiss me, I’m Irish” then people are going to assume you are Irish! For a funky look that shows off your personality, wear a customized holiday T-shirt. Whether it is Valentines Day, or St. Patrick’s Day, a customized holiday shirt can really tell someone a lot about you!
Corporate T-shirts
Corporate T-shirts are those shirts that you get from somewhere you are involved with, whether it is a job or a hobby. For example, say you work at a community center and they give you a “staff” shirt that has the community centers name and logo on it. When you wear these around other people, it shows them that you are involved in activities, or where you work, or even the community you live in (which may or may not be a good thing). A lot of the time, when you do volunteer work somewhere, they will give you one of these shirts.

This is interesting and so true. I don’t like T shirts that make political or religious statements by slandering another point of view. If your position is really strong, you don’t need to bash the other guy in order to support your own cause. As for band T shirts—I used to wear my Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin shirts 🙂

You have to be careful what you wear on a T-shirt because it can be offensive to others and we need to be sensitive to what others think. I like funny sayings on T-shirts, but I prefer to just have my shirts without anything on them

I have never really thought about what shirts say about people. Neat little facts. I do have wearing shirts with cats. I love cats and cats pictures. I will have to start looking closer to see what some people wear.

I don’t have that many t-shirts, but my fave at the moment says “Group Therapy” and has 5 martini glasses under it. Also has some silver rhinestone bling. Not a lush I swear! Just a cute tee from The Loft! I never thought about this before, but it makes perfect sense!
