When it comes to cooking, there are so many different things you can use. There are pots and pans, slow cookers, and pressure cookers. One thing people are getting excited about at the moment is instant pots. People are claiming they can revolutionize your cooking. They are said to be multi-purpose and even able to save you time.
Perhaps you are getting bored of preparing meals or are facing a busy schedule. Alternatively, you fancy some variety and the opportunity to try something new. In these scenarios, an instant pot may be exactly what you’re looking for – so let’s find out why.
It Can Help With Lots Of Recipes
Not many cooking items can saute meats or bloom spices, and also help you make bread pudding. Instant pots can help you brown meat and steam vegetables, or make fruit cobbler and custards. Lovers of cheesecake and other puddings can also harness their power.
For more inspiration and options you should check out the internet. You’ll find many more recipes and a range of tips and FAQs online. You can get help with anything from spaghetti bolognese to cheesy tuna pasta casserole. You can learn about chicken alfredo, rice a roni or pasta primavera.
Instant pots resemble stove-top skillets more than electric pressure cookers. As a result, they can steam items that you have to be careful with, including fish, vegetables and eggs. Their varied functions enable you to saute, brown or sear food, and create delicious cakes and desserts too.
There’s no need to purchase an extra rice cooker either, because it can make it soft and fluffy. You won’t need to buy an additional egg cooker too.
It’s Cooks Fast
You may wonder how it can slow cook and be swift at the same time! One reason is that you don’t need to wait for the water to boil. There’s no draining process when the food is ready at the end, either.
Your cooking will be finished between two and six times faster than if you used traditional methods. You can create steel-cut oats in eight minutes or a complex meal in less than an hour. There’s no need for your precious food to sit simmering for ages. Instant pots are more than a match for tough cuts of meat; whether it’s pork shoulder, brisket or pork ribs. You can pour in anything, whether it’s stew or soups, grains or beans.
General Benefits
Instant pots have built-in safety mechanisms, including several sensors. Once they become internally pressurized they automatically lock. They are a joy to clean up afterward, especially compared to using several different pieces of equipment. Your instant pot can simply be placed in the dishwasher, and be cleaned ready for next time. Whether you need one to hold three or eight quarts, you’ll find just what you need.
When all these different things are added together you are left with a compelling reason to try using an instant pot. Both you and your family will enjoy the results, and the variety that you can create.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
Donna Cheatle says
The best benefit I have found with my Instant Pot is for cooking dried beans. No more soaking overnight and then cooking for hours. I rinse them and then throw them in the IP and add water to the fill line, then cook for 30 minutes. They are perfectly done and so quick and easy! Both hubby and I love all kinds of beans, so now we grow them in the garden and jar up the dried beans until we’re ready to use them and then they’re so quick and easy and can be adapted flavorwise for any meal you’re making. So healthy too!!
