I am determined this year to get my Facebook to over the 10,000 fans mark. I want to do something great when I reach that mark but I am unsure as to what you all would enjoy more so I thought I would simply ask for your opinions in all of it. I was thinking that I could do a gift card giveaways of some sort but then I had another idea. So as my readers and followers which would you rather have:
A large gift card for 1 winner
I would select a store or simply a Visa gift card and the amount would be someone around $100 or more. I would then select a random fan and they win.
Small Gift Cards Throughout the Year
Then I thought why not maybe do a $25 gift card once or twice a month until the end of the year once I hit that mark. Each month I would simply randomly select a fan and they would win.
Which would you prefer I did?

I think that the $25 would be better. That way more people have the chance to win.

Both options are intriguing! You might look at it from the standpoint of what would entice readers to become your fan on Facebook. Would they be apt to do it for multiple chances at a smaller amount or one chance at a larger amount? You might even consider one giveaway of multiple smaller cards instead of one small card each milestone? Personally, I would consider a better chance at say 5 smaller cards than just one small or large card.

Making it fair for everyone would be a great way to do a giveaway, multiple small giveaways would be best
