Where are the Giveaways

You may have noticed that there have been no giveaways recently. The reason is I put a halt to all giveaways for now. There are a couple of reasons behind it. 

First I want to catch up getting prizes out to those who are missing prizes without having to add more into that list. If you are missing a rize from me (meaning you received an email or were tagged on Facebook from me that you won) please send me an email at rita@ritareviews.net so that I will get with you about getting your prize to you as well as an I’m sorry gift. This has been a nightmare and one that I am hoping I will have resolved. It turns out not only was she not sending prizes but she had sent winning emails to multiple people for the same giveaways. Giveaways where there was only one winner.  This is why there hasn’t been any Friday Cocktails either. they will start back up this month but they will not have a giveaway in them. 

The second reason is my giveaways have become a bit too predictable. They really have so I decided that I would put a halt to them for a little while and then come back with a better plan for everyone. I am doing this both on Rita Reviews and Storied Conversation.  I don’t want things to be so routine when it comes to giveaways anymore and I feel like I have fallen into a rut with them. So I am changing things up and deciding how often, if at all, I will be doing them. 

Another reason is that I have noticed that many times people comment now because it is an entry to a giveaway and not just on the articles. I don’t want that to be the only reason we interact. So I am working towards writing more engaging articles and reviews. I do have a plan to add giveaways back into things here and there depending on how things go with everything else.
