Are you ready to rock out this holiday season? Well, let me tell you that Ma is! She got a new tablet for her birthday (which is later this month but what can you do) and has discovered the power of video. I can’t get her off it but the problem is that she will turn on her video while we are in the middle of watching television. The old gal can be hard of hearing at the best of times so you can just imagine the competing movies. Thanks to Wicked Audio she is decked out and ready to listen to anything!

 

We were sent the VXN headphones to review and I have to tell you that Ma is loving them! They are available in three different color choices and each one is hand splattered so they are each unique. We received the Frost/Aqua color. It is the perfect color for Ma in that it is pretty enough to be feminine but light enough that she can see them in her bag if she is out and about with them. They are corded and the cord is 4 feet so you have plenty of give in there. You can easily set your tablet or phone on the table and listen comfortably.

Ma has small ears so these are perfect for her. When I put them on they cover my ears but feel a little small on them. That is a personal sort of thing because I prefer my headphones to much larger. These are perfect for women or even young girls. I just wanted to make you aware that they are truly designed for women’s ears (not my giant ones cause I have got man ears I swear!) They are very lightweight, you can hardly tell you have them on at all.

 

My favorite things about them (and I’m sure Ma’s as well cause she is a little deaf) is that they pick up every sound or instrument. I tested this out by listening to an orchestra play along with a choir and I heard it all. In fact I heard some instruments that I am certain I have never heard clearly before. I have listened to tons of headphones over the years and I can say that, in my opinion, this is one of the best pairs that I have ever had the pleasure of using.

Nothing is distorted in any way. I can move my head (yes I tend to move my head or even dance) when I listen to move. That’s a big deal since a lot of headphones you get that crackle and static if you move your head too much.
