For us here in Georgia winter typically comes in during January. Although we have plenty of cold days in the last couple of months. We even had freezing fog a couple of mornings ago. I can’t ever remember hearing of that before but I guess it’s a thing. Anyway it got me to thinking about my favorite things to for winter and I thought I would share them with you.

I miss having a really cold winter. There were moments when I was young we were stationed in places that were super cold. I loved it! I can clearly remember the first time I saw a lot of snow. It is one of my favorite memories. Snow and winter has always been our favorite season of the year. At least one of them. In fact, that picture up at the top is the year we went snow tubing at Sugar Mountain in Boone, North Carolina.

  1. Well, I don’t know what items you are asking about…but I LOVE winter boots! Anything that looks like a boot…I love. I’m addicted to them and I don’t mind telling anyone about it. God bless and please stay safe everyone!

  7. For me winter must haves are soft and fluffy socks that keep my feet warm. Super soft blankets. Hot tea or hot cocoa. Books. I love to curl up under a blanket or throw and read.

  8. Freezing fog has to be a new term because I only heard it recently also, we had it here too. It is very cold and snowy here during the winter months and my favorite winter items are good wool mix socks.

  14. I love a good moisturizer for my dry skin! And nice leggings to wear with dresses when I feel like being a bit fancy.

    • Winter is my favorite because I am going thru menapause and the hot flashes are killing me. I live in Mississippi therefore, like Georgia, we have our winter in January and February mainly along with a few shorts days thrown in. At least when it’s cold outside I can walk outside and cool off easily.
      The products I love more in winter is really good body and hand creams, candles, and quilts.

  17. I love fuzzy slippers and cozy robes in the winter. Plush blankets on the couch are great also.

  18. i just got myself a really adorable brand new coat for the first time in like 20 years. i love it and it was important to splurge on myself!

  39. My favorite winter items are my Yankee candles that have scents cinnamon or evergreen, my slow cooker fired up for chili’s or sturdy soups with chunks of beef and root veggies, and making homemade rye bread dense with pumpernickel, dark rye flour, and caraway.

  43. For winter must-haves, I need good coffee, warm fleece-lined gloves, and a Green Bay Packers hat!

  48. My winter must haves include my electric blanket, hot cocoa and a long, thick scarf to cover my mouth and nose when I am outside. Earmuffs are a plus as well.

  50. A comfy chair. A nice soft blanket. A hot cup of coffee. My favorite movie on television.

  53. I love my wool scarf and thick socks. I also have a fluffy blanket I cover myself with while I’m reading, it is so nice and warm.

  55. I love winter hats, scarfs, gloves, long jackets, warm blankets, cappuccinos, lattes, tea, & coffee to stay warm.

  64. My favorite winter items are warm, soft socks, lip balm, and a warm throw for the couch. I also like hot chocolate. Snow is probably my most favorite winter thing.

  66. My favorite winter items are my wearable blanket sweater, sherpa blanket and my winter boots!

  72. I like “hot hands” (and toes) – the little packets that you can activate and then they keep you warm for several hours

  73. I have a really cozy warm blanket that I like to use in winter and a winter hat that covers the ears and keeps them from getting cold.

  90. My favorite items from the list are the Winter Survival Kit – 8oz bottle of Hot Toddy Mix and 8oz bottle of Mulling Syrup and the winter berries mask. Both items are cute! I also love anything plaid in the winter months like the Wander Agio Womens Warm Triangle Scarves found on Amazon.

  114. My favorite winter item is a pocket warmer. It lets me stay outside longer while my daughter plays. I put one in both our pockets.

  122. I love a warm blanket or robe and slipper socks. I also like a jacket and pair of gloves when leaving the house if it’s really chilly outside.

  134. I love to sit with a good book and warm blanket when it is cold outside. A cup of hot tea is always nice too!

  145. I have a blanket scarf that I love and for my girls I love vests. I don’t think i’d wear one, but they look adorable in them and it gives them a little extra warmth without taking away their range of arm movement.

  152. My favorite winter items are my fleece lined leather boots I got a few years ago. Living in northern part of Florida, I rarely get to wear them.

  159. I have to have my portable infrared heater and pumpkin spice coffee in winter. A light jacket is all I need to keep warm outdoors, since it doesn’t get very cold in south Louisiana.
