I wish I could go old school. I have been thinking so much lately about how I wish I’d been a mother in the generation that actually did the laundry like this. It seems like such a simpler time.

You would not believe how much I save on electricity with the dryer not running all the time. I don’t hang the twins stuff outside but on a rack in the house and I have to use extra fabric softener (those towels can be rough sometimes) but it is so worth it. As long as it doesn’t rain!

I love this. I noticed all the comfy sweatpants. That is so me. I walk in the door and pull on my comfy sweatpants and sweatshirts. My kids tease me that it’s my uniform. 🙂 Nothing wrong with going old school. Just think of all the money you saved not running the dryer.

My sister in-law introduced me to these particular sweatpants and I live in them. Hubby hates them so much so when he is home I try to wear jeans and such but if it is just me and the kids here all day–HELLO SWEATPANTS!
I remember doing the laundry with my grandmother. She had a dryer but she said it made the house too hot and nothing laundry dried on the line. I loved helping her with it and wish I had a line of my own to use.
That should read nothing beats laundry dried on the line!

I love when I bring the sheets in and put them on the bed! I sleep so well because they smell so fresh. The kids hate that I hang out the laundry but hey we live in the middle of nowhere. There is a strict no drawers on the line though. I would hate for the UPS guy to blush.

I would love to have a cloths line, no place for it, I remember helping my Mom take the clothes off the line, they always smelled so good, brings back that happy feeling
Too funny I guess this week it was a sweatpants week. I certainly have those days but I pretty much live in my jeans just about every day of the week. Thankfully I don’t have to dress up at work.
