Do you remember riding one of these?
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

LOL! I haven’t heard it called that in years! I can remember when I was little I could not wait until I was old enough to ride the bus to school. We used to kid my mom, who was all of 4’9″, about being a school bus driver and not being tall enough to see over the steering wheel. Thanks for the memories Rita!

Oh yeah. My house was one of the first stops so I had a long ride. I didn’t mind though – it was sort of a nice way to ease into the day. I guess I’ve never been a morning person.

I never heard it called that and I rode the bus all through Jr High and H.S. I was the last stop but it was almost 3 miles to school, which really wasn’t too bad. I liked riding the bus. We had a nice bus driver too.

Yes, I like the name you call it-The Yellow Banana! I remember riding in this bus and getting to school sometimes late. It was kind of scary in the winter because the bus slid a few times.

We (my high school Cross country/track team) called it the Yellow Limousine.

I love the name Yellow Banana! My daughter always calls it the Yellow Submarine. Probably because we live in the Pacific Northwest were it rains a lot. I rode one a couple of years ago for a field trip. Let me tell you it was still a bone rattling ride.

I sure do, and I remember they would put chains on the tires in the winter, and it was cold waiting for that bus!
