Words to Sweat By is a company after my own heart. Their workout towels have these wonderful inspirational messages on them. It is funny there is so much that I want to say about how wonderful these towels are but then there are no words. I HATE to workout so having anything that motivates or inspires me even a little really touches a nerve.
What began with a line of one-size-fits-all sassy or serious mantra workout towels has grown to include mantra t-shirts, and hand stamped jewelry. All Words to Sweat by products are designed and developed by Dana Lardner and are predominantly manufactured in her studio in San Jose, CA.
I received two Mantra Workout Towels, one is their old style towel and one is their new one. The old towel has this great message in Spanish and is orange which I really love.
Sudando la gota gorda
That roughly means sweating the big drop or fat drops. This towel is not as plush as the newer one but it is great. The message inspires you while the towel soaks up the sweat. I poured water on the counter to test how well it absorbs and it wiped it up well.
The newer towel is purple with this message
Strength. Compassion. Peace.
It is much plusher and soaks up the water better. It is truly a great towel and after a workout when you need something to wipe yourself down I would recommend this.
Victoria loves the purple towel because purple is her favorite color and she loves working out with me so we can both use our towels. In fact if I happen to grab my towel for any other purpose she quickly reminds me that I MUST work out in order to use it.

What an interesting idea, I have not seen towels like this before. I’m sure most of us could use more inspiration when it comes to exercise.

These towels are great. I think it’s great to have a little inspiration when you work out. I checked out their site and Love their necklaces and other accessories. Such a great idea. I have a couple of friends that these would make great gifts.
