As a blogger I get hundreds of packages a day. I receive packages from all major carriers and very rarely have a problem. I purchased an item for my mother, paid extra to get it delivered by Friday December 20th only to have FedEx refuse to deliver my package.
First it was the wrong address which I corrected and today it has been delayed because well who knows. I guess they just didn’t want to deliver the package. I called and they don’t have an answer and no one can tell if I am going to get my package. As you all know I rarely, if ever, write negative things but this has gone too far. My package is not delayed due to weather or some other unforeseen issue.
I called their main number to make a complaint and well they may get back to me but I doubt it. If this was a normal shipment it wouldn’t bother me so much but I paid additional money so that it would arrive on time! Now I don’t know where the package is or if my mother will receive it on time.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Let me get this straight – YOU gave them the wrong address and during the Christmas season you feel that you should write a negative review of them because they didn’t correct YOUR mistake within the time that you wanted them too. Ur … um … ok then.

No I didn’t give them the wrong address, I should have clarified that. Everything else that I ordered at the time I placed this order (it was a large one with several items) has arrived. They said it was the wrong street address the first day it didn’t arrive however when I called them it was the zip code was off somehow by 1 number. SO they corrected it and said it would be delivered the next day but it wasn’t. They have no idea why the driver didn’t bring it to me.

I hate when this happens. The same thing happened to my husband about a week ago. The worst part is he just kept watching it get delayed over and over online with no reason. I get that they are busy this time of year. But when you pay extra for delivery, they should make sure you get what you paid for.

I’m so sorry to hear that. I have had good experiences with FedEx, other than it being overpriced. I hope your mom can get her present by Christmas, if not, I’m sure she will be understanding. But their lack of care (FEDEX) is annoying at best.

FedEx made me mad today too. They called to get into the apt building so I told them I would come down and ran down 2 levels as fast as I could. Nobody there and I waited 5 minutes then headed back up. The elevator opens and the FedEx guy says someone let him in so he left my package (worth $200) upstairs at my door. I just said OK (and not thanks) but wanted to ask if he always says one thing and does another. Why he couldn’t wait the 2 minutes it took for me to run down the stairs, I don’t know. ugh.

How frustrating this can be have experienced situations like this at work. I think you can sometimes get lucky and get the right person on the phone but most of the time you get the feeling it is a person who hates their job.

I have found delivery people are much ruder than they use to be. I have found valuable packages just placed where ever they feel like leaving them. We found one package in the middle of our driveway and it was getting dark. glad we saw it or it might’ve been stolen.

WOW! I would have been so upset. Like I said if this was a normal delivery and I had not paid extra to ensure it would arrive on time it wouldn’t bother me. The zipcode mistake was not mine since everything else in the order was delivered correctly and on time by FedEx but after the complete run around that I have been given as to what is going on I am not sure if there was an address error.

That’s a bummer. Usually Fedex does a good job. I’m really surprised that they were so despondent in their reaction to your reports of issues. I hope everything works out okay.
