If you have been following for a while then you know I just changed things…again!! I swear to you there actually was a very good reason for this. I liked the way things look before however I have spent the past two months working from my laptop and everything looked fine. After I got home and began updating my desktop I noticed something was off when I went to the blog.
First that background color was not supposed to be that bright of a green. One thing I have learned is that every monitor shows colors differently and I strive to ensure they are not blinding. I did not check that green because it was supposed to be a rather soft color. When I saw it on my desktop it made my eyes hurt. All I kept thinking was that this was so bad. Another thing I wasn’t crazy about before but lived with was the fancy script. When I adjusted the featured posts sizes it made that chunky font look even chunky.
I have been trying for a couple of months to get it to look better but haven’t had any sort of luck. o I redid it all! I went back to purple because I was honestly missing my purple. It is my favorite color and just so me. I added a teal that I am loving and checked out on every single monitor I have. Finally I changed up the header a bit and feel like I am good to go. I still have to change all of the social media but I am going to do that over the weekend. By then end of the month I hope to have that topic list at the bottom thinned out for you all. I want to have fewer topics so that you can find things a little easier. Please don’t hate me and I SWEAR, CROSS MY HEART, HOPE TO DIE that this is the last time. If I had to hashtag this it would be #imsorry #donthateme #ireallyneededtodothis #imighthaveaproblem
OMG Rita—you are so me LOL! I love the look. Maybe my laptop is mellower that your desktop as I have noticed changes, but not glaring colors.
I love purple too!
Its your blog and you change it however you like, I’m sure its a pain to change but you have to look at it way more then the readers. Glad to have you back.
Looking good, Rita. Thanks for all you do.
