Y’OUR Personalized Skincare Revisited

A couple of years ago I tried Y’OUR Personalized Skincare for the first time and wrote about it here on the blog. I loved it and they reached out because they have gone through some changes and wanted to give me a chance to try them out now. I was so thrilled because I have been struggling with a flare up of my rosacea on my face.

As you can see that I am having a rather rough flare up. Usually when summer hits I get one and it can be rough. Anytime there is a change in seasons things can get difficult. To add into the mix is menopause and some health issues. One of the best things about Y’OUR Personalized Skincare is the Skin Analysis Quiz that you take. It is a simple quiz that walks you through your skincare, what your concerns are, and what you like to use. At the end you know just what you need for your skin.

Step One Cleanser is amazing! It cleans my face and takes all the excess oil off easily. I never feel like I’m washing my face the way you do with other soaps. There is some foaming but not so much that it is all running, not your eyes. I actually like that as I hate when I have to be faster than the foam sliding down my face. There isn’t a smell either which is something else I love.

Step Two Day Cream has sunscreen in it and I swear smells like the beach. I don’t know why that is what it reminds me of but it does and I love it. It is lightweight and not greasy which I love. I hate when my day cream feels like I put four pounds of oil on my face. I tend to forget sunscreen and day cream most days. Because this is part of system I always remember to put it on every morning after I wash my face.

Step Three Anti-Acne Serum I use at night and it helps reduce redness and prevent acne. I have also found that it will bring any acne that has already popped up to come to a head quicker and go away much faster. It is light weight although on my nose it did burn a little the first couple of days. It has salicylic in it which is why it burned a little. I just didn’t put it on those areas until they calmed down enough to handle it. That happens sometimes with rosacea and I have learned to adjust.

Step Four Night Cream is so nice. Honestly of the two creams this one is my favorite. It is thick without being too thick if that makes any kind of sense. A little of this goes a long way and you can use the little push down button or open the top to get the cream out. I use the little push button because it gives you just enough.

One of the best things is that in addition to wonderful skincare for your face you can get Add-On Products that are simply amazing. One of those products is the washing gloves that I honestly need to know where they have been all my life. They are so great. I feel so refreshed when I step out of the shower when I use these.

The Y’our Skin Lip Balm is simply wonderful! First look at the size of that tube! I have another fairly popular brand and it isn’t half the size not to mention it cost me more than twenty dollars. I hate it, it doesn’t do anything they say. That cannot be said about this lip balm. It goes on smoothly.

How Did It Do?

Just how well does it work? In the picture you can see the redness is gone. The dryness is still there a bit but it is getting less and less each day. This is after a month of using the products daily. I will say that if I forget a day (morning or night) then I feel like I have to start all over time wise because the next day the redness will be back. Especially in the beginning when I first started using it. However, as the days go on things get better and I find that if I forget it is not as bad.

Final Thoughts

Y’OUR Personalized Skincare is just as great now as it was before. I have found that I love just as much and with the new additional products they are better than ever. This is a company that listens and gives you a system to handle your daily skincare with minimal fuss. I admit that I don’t always get up and cleanse my face or anything. With this system sitting on my bathroom counter I am reminded to do it. That big number on each of the products make it easy for even my eyesight without my glasses on.
