I know that you have all seen those new pouches that hold baby food and pureed snacks but have you ever thought that you wanted one you could reuse? That is where Yummi Pouch, a reusable food container for babies and kids, comes in! They are BPA-free and phthalate-free for safety, not to mention they’re recyclable too. The extra-wide, zipper opening makes filling them easy (which I really love), and the stand up bottom keeps the pouches upright for filling and storage.
Yummi Pouch sent me some pouches for review and I am loving them! They are dishwasher and freezer safe (don’t microwave them) and they hold a full 6 ounces. The kids love having snacks on the go and now I can make healthy snacks that they can take in the car and not have a huge mess. We make snacks and freeze them so they are good and cold when we are on the go.
Most of the pouch snacks are only 4 ounces which are great for toddlers but what happens when you have older children that eat the pureed snacks? 4 ounces just is not enough! These can also be resealed easily which means when I use pureed fruit in recipes I can save the left over and use it later. Yummi Pouch has thought of everything too! You can use a dry erase marker to write the date and what is inside.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I love that these reusable pouches are BPA-free and dishwasher safe. These pouches are the greatest! I but the Plum Organics that come prepared in these pouches, and just hand it over to my little guy. So simple and mess-free.

I have wondered about these–I couldn’t imagine how you clean them. They certainly sound convenient.

This is one of the best innovations I’ve seen in a long time! it is just so easy to avoid buying processed baby/toddler foods by making your own, and these pouches make it so easy to handle!

I would love to try these with my boys. I make all my baby’s food and my oldest loves to eat the ones we buy at the store. It would be nice to make my own.

I have seen these around and know they are a hit with mom’s of little kids. I never even thought to use them to store pureed fruit! What a great idea!! I also like that you can write on them with a dry erase maker. Thanks for the great tip!

These are awesome! I made all my own baby food and my girls still love it when I make homemade fruit sauces (apple-peach-apricot is a favorite).

These would be great for making your own baby food. They would be nice in lunches too.
